A straight bourbon finished in port barrels, with jammy fruit, caramel and spice.
What it is
Isaac Bowman is a straight bourbon whiskey from Virginia, bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV). It is aged in charred white oak barrels and then finished in port barrels, many of which come from Virginia wineries. That finish layers rich, jammy fruit over the bourbon's caramel and spice. Its sibling, Abraham Bowman port-finished bourbon, won World's Best Bourbon in 2016.
