This exceptional bourbon is a masterclass in blending and history. It is crafted from Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon mashbill of 78% Corn, 12% Malted Barley, and 10% Rye. The liquid is drawn from a specific lot of 204 barrels, all distilled on December 13, 2015—a date that marked Heaven Hill’s 80th Anniversary.
These barrels were patiently aged for nine years and eight months on the 4th and 6th floors of Rickhouses G and H, allowing the Kentucky climate to deeply influence the spirit. The resulting whiskey is a thoughtfully constructed blend of 70% traditional Kentucky Straight Bourbon and 30% Kentucky Straight Bourbon aged in heavy char barrels. This unique heavy-char component adds a profound richness and oak-driven complexity to the final profile.
Bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV)—a nod to the historic barrel entry proof—and non-chill filtered, this bourbon preserves its full, natural character and viscous mouthfeel.
