Bosscal Joven is an artisanal mezcal made from 100% agave, bottled at 84 proof (42% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle.
Where and how it's made
- Made in Durango, Mexico
- Distilled from 100% wild Cenizo agave, roasted in underground pits
- Bottled unaged (joven) to keep the fresh agave character
Tasting notes
- Nose: roasted agave, smoke and citrus
- Palate: bright and smoky, with sweet agave, pepper and mineral notes
- Finish: medium length, with clean smoke
Serving and pairing
Sip neat with orange slices and sal de gusano, or use it in a Mezcal Negroni or Margarita. Pairs with tacos al pastor, grilled vegetables and ceviche.
