Moonshine-soaked cherries packed right in the jar, at a full 100 proof.
What it is
Ole Smoky Moonshine Cherries are maraschino cherries soaked in cherry-flavored moonshine, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). The cherries absorb the spirit, so each one delivers a sweet, boozy bite, and the liquid itself makes a strong, fruity pour. Ole Smoky Distillery opened in 2010 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains, and helped bring legal, small-batch moonshine to a wide audience. The jar of bright red cherries has become one of the distillery's signature products.
