What it is
Jameson Black Barrel Select Reserve is a blended Irish whiskey from Ireland, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV). It combines pot still and grain whiskeys matured in sherry and bourbon oak casks. Unlike other Jameson whiskeys, Black Barrel is aged in twice-charred barrels, which brings out a complex palate of sherry nuttiness, vanilla and creamy grain notes, with fruity hints of apple and nectarine.
