Dewar's signature blended Scotch, smooth and easy to mix.
What it is
Dewar's White Label is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV). First blended in 1899, it is one of the world's best-known Scotch whiskies and the classic choice for a Scotch highball.
Where and how it's made
- Made by John Dewar & Sons, the Scotch whisky house founded in Perth, Scotland, in 1846
- A blend of malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland
- Dewar's double-ages its blends, marrying them in oak casks after blending for extra smoothness
Tasting notes
- Nose: heather honey, light fruit and vanilla
- Palate: smooth and mellow, with honey, soft grain and a hint of oak
- Finish: clean, light and gently sweet
Serving and pairing
Serve as a highball with soda water or ginger ale, on the rocks, or in a Rob Roy. Pairs with grilled meats, burgers, fish and chips and salty snacks. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
