What it is
Chivas Regal 18 Gold Signature is a blended Scotch whisky aged at least 18 years, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle.
Where and how it's made
- Blended in Scotland by Chivas Brothers, founded in Aberdeen in 1801
- Made with malt whiskies from Speyside, including Strathisla
- Every whisky in the blend is aged a minimum of 18 years
Tasting notes
- Nose: dried fruit, dark chocolate, toffee and floral notes
- Palate: rich and velvety, with butterscotch, dark chocolate, orange and a whisper of smoke
- Finish: long, warm and smoky-sweet
Serving and pairing
Sip neat or with a few drops of water, or over one large ice cube. Pairs with dark chocolate, roast beef, aged cheddar and a fine cigar. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
