What it is
Cazadores Reposado is a 100% agave tequila bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), available in 750 ml and 375 ml bottles. It rests in new American oak barrels for up to a year.
Where and how it's made
- Made from 100% blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico
- Fermented with Cazadores' own yeast and double distilled
- Cazadores has been making tequila in Arandas, Jalisco since 1922
Tasting notes
- Nose: cooked agave, vanilla and light oak
- Palate: smooth and balanced, with agave, cinnamon, citrus and a touch of caramel
- Finish: medium-long and warm
Serving and pairing
Sip neat or on the rocks, or shake into a margarita or Paloma. Pairs with carnitas, grilled chicken, enchiladas and street tacos. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
