What it is
Cazadores Añejo Cristalino is an aged tequila bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle. It is aged in new American oak, then filtered to remove the color while keeping the aged character.
Where and how it's made
- Made from 100% blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico
- Fermented with Cazadores' own yeast and double distilled
- Cazadores has been making tequila in Arandas, Jalisco since 1922
Tasting notes
- Nose: vanilla, toasted wood and cooked agave
- Palate: smooth, with vanilla, light oak, citrus and sweet agave
- Finish: clean and soft
Serving and pairing
Sip chilled or on the rocks, or use it in a clear, elevated margarita. Pairs with seafood, grilled chicken and light desserts. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
