What it is
Casamigos Reposado is a 100% agave tequila bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), available in 750 ml and 375 ml bottles. It rests seven months in American white oak barrels.
Where and how it's made
- Made from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico
- Agave is slow-roasted in brick ovens and fermented with a proprietary yeast
- Casamigos was founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman
Tasting notes
- Nose: caramel, cocoa and cooked agave
- Palate: silky, with caramel, vanilla, oak and a light spice
- Finish: smooth and medium-long
Serving and pairing
Sip neat or over ice, or use it in a premium margarita. Pairs with carnitas, grilled chicken and roasted vegetables. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
