What it is
Absente Absinthe is a French absinthe bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle. This gift pack includes a slotted absinthe spoon.

Tasting notes
- Nose: bold anise and licorice with herbal wormwood and mint
- Palate: sweet anise, fennel and herbs, softening as water is added
- Finish: long, cool and herbal, with lingering licorice
Serving and pairing
Pour a measure into a glass, lay the spoon across the top with a sugar cube, and slowly drip cold water over it until the absinthe turns cloudy. Also good in a Sazerac or Death in the Afternoon. Pair with charcuterie, olives or dark chocolate.
