What it is
Cazadores Extra Añejo is a 100% agave tequila bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle. Extra añejo tequila must be aged more than three years in oak.
Where and how it's made
- Made from 100% blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico
- Fermented with Cazadores' own yeast and double distilled
- Cazadores has been making tequila in Arandas, Jalisco since 1922
Tasting notes
- Nose: dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and oak
- Palate: rich and velvety, with toffee, cinnamon, chocolate and agave
- Finish: long and elegant
Serving and pairing
Sip neat in a snifter or with one large ice cube. Pairs with dark chocolate, crème brûlée and a fine cigar. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
