- Distilled entirely from 100% malted barley at a single distillery
- Aged in new charred American oak barrels, for more oak and vanilla than a typical Scotch
- Released in small batches
Tasting notes
- Nose: malted barley, honey and toasted oak
- Palate: rich and smooth, with toffee, vanilla, dried fruit and a hint of cocoa
- Finish: long, warm and slightly nutty
Serving and pairing
Sip neat or with a few drops of water to open it up. Pairs with roast pork, smoked salmon, aged gouda and dark chocolate. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
